How the Filtration Stages Work
This system uses three filtration stages arranged in series within heavy‑duty housings:
- Stage 1 — PP Sediment Filter: The first polypropylene sediment cartridge captures coarse particles like dust, rust, sand, and dirt. This protects the downstream filter and plumbing from abrasive solids.
- Stage 2 — CTO Carbon Block Filter: The central carbon block stage removes chlorine, chemical tastes, odors, and many dissolved organic compounds, improving water flavor and smell.
- Stage 3 — PP Sediment Filter: The final sediment cartridge “polishes” water by catching finer particulates that remain after carbon treatment.
The integrated pressure gauge lets you monitor system performance and track when filter changes are due for optimal filtration.
