Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits a consumer’s non-excludable rights under South African law. Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, the implied warranty of quality and the remedies in sections 55 and 56 apply independently of any manufacturer warranty.
Manufacturer or Supplier Warranties
Some products carry an additional manufacturer or supplier warranty. The period, scope, registration requirements and remedy vary by product and brand. Where we advertise a particular warranty, the applicable duration and material conditions will be stated on the product page or supplied before purchase. A general statement that a product is “warrantied” should not be read as a single identical warranty across the catalog.
Manufacturer warranties can exclude damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect voltage, phase or frequency, dry running, operation outside rated specifications, unsuitable water or chemicals, unauthorised modification or repair, impact, neglect or failure to perform required maintenance. An exclusion applies only to the extent that it is relevant, lawful and caused or contributed to the failure; it does not cancel unrelated statutory rights.
Making a Claim
Email sales@monstermechanical.co.za with the order number, proof of purchase, product and serial/model number, fault description, installation details and clear photos or video where useful. We will explain the assessment and return process. Do not return the product before receiving instructions.
