Vontron Reverse Osmosis Membrane ULP21-4040

The RO membrane ULP21-4040 is an ultra-low pressure reverse osmosis element designed for efficient and reliable water purification. It is widely used in commercial and light industrial systems where energy efficiency and stable performance are required.

Because this membrane operates effectively at lower feed pressures, it helps reduce pump load and operating costs. In addition, its standard 4040 size allows easy installation in most reverse osmosis housings.

Key Features

  • High Flow Capacity and Salt Rejection

    • Average permeate flow of approximately 2400 GPD (≈ 9.1 m³/day) under standard testing conditions (25 °C, 150 psi, NaCl feed).
    • Stable salt rejection rate around ~99% for effective desalination and purification.
  • Ultra-Low Pressure Performance

    • Designed to operate at reduced feed pressures (about two-thirds of regular low-pressure elements), which can lower energy consumption and pump size requirements.
  • Large Active Membrane Area

    • Active membrane area of approximately 90 ft² (~8.4 m²) for high throughput and efficient filtration.
  • Broad Compatibility

    • Standard 4″×40″ size matches most RO housings for easy integration and retrofitting.
    • Suitable for surface, municipal, and underground water sources with TDS below ~2000 ppm.
