The 35-watt UV sterilizer from Monster Mechanical is an inline system using ultraviolet (UV-C) technology. The UV lamp is housed in a stainless-steel chamber.
The unit can be installed as post-treatment after a filtration system or as part of a water treatment system.
How UV Water Sterilization Works
Water flows past the UV-C lamp inside the sealed stainless-steel chamber.
UV treatment does not add treatment chemicals to the water. Pre-filtration is used to reduce particulates before the UV chamber.
